This latest collection of abstract work is based on aspects of landscape and the sea. The paintings were created over a period of months with multiple layers of paint being applied, allowing a greater complexity of surface. The whole process involved more diverse mark making and discovering different ways of balancing structure. The new approach brings an extra richness to this dynamic group of work and in many cases a greater sense of freedom.
As always, these new paintings allow you to bring your own interpretation to each piece, as you become immersed not only in the landscape but in the spirit of the elements and seasons too.
All of the new works were completed earlier this year and are exclusively available here. Each one is presented in a handmade white frame with acid free double mount.
